After Stabbing at Tram Stop, The Boy Was Taken To Hospital

A boy with injuries was taken to the hospital after stabbing at the Edge Lane Metrolink stop in Droylsden.

On Saturday evening, Greater Manchester Police were called to the scene around 8 pm. When the officers arrived at the tram station, they found a male with injuries. He was transferred to the hospital by North West Ambulance Service immediately.

According to GMP officers, the boy was in stable condition. For the investigation, another boy was arrested on suspicion of assault.

Police have not confirmed on details of the stabbing and the ages of the individuals, yet. According to witnesses, both of the boys were teenagers.

A spokesman from GMP said: “At around 8:00 pm on Saturday 6 February, police were called to a reported stabbing at the Edge Lane Metrolink Stop, Droylsden. A juvenile male was treated at the scene by NWAS and then transferred to the hospital. His condition is described as stable. A male juvenile has been arrested for assault and is currently in custody.”
