 Man Charged For The Death Of Philip Ogden In Stalybridge

A man has been charged in connection with the death of Philip Ogden in Stalybridge. Philip Ogden has died in a collision at the junction of Bayley Street and Bridge Street in Stalybridge on Sunday 9 May. David Chorlton,26, has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving, whilst disqualified, and unlicenced.

Tameside Magistrates court charged the 26-year-old man on Friday 14 May for causing death by dangerous driving without a licence, using a motor vehicle on a road or public place without third part insurance, and failing to stop after a road accident. A 23-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman also were arrested on suspicion of assisting the offenders and they have been released under investigation.
