Cyclist Is In Serious Condition After Being Hit By A Car

A cyclist still fights for her life after a car hit her in Stretford. A 35-year-old woman has serious head injuries due to the accident on Friday night.

According to GMP, her condition is still serious. Police said that the accident happened at about 10.10 pm on Friday on Chester Road between a cyclist and a grey SmartForFour.

The driver of the car remained at the scene and attended to the investigation. Enquires are ongoing.No arrests have been made.

Sgt Matt Waggett, of GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “A woman has been left fighting for her life as a result of this collision and we’re doing everything we can to piece together the circumstances that led to it occurring.”
