Police Appeal for Witnesses After Violent Disorder in Cheadle Hulme

Greater Manchester Police are appealing for witnesses following a violent disorder that took place on Grove Lane, Cheadle Hulme, at approximately 8 pm on Saturday, 29th July.

Reports indicated a large fight in the area, prompting a swift response from the police. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and the fight was promptly dispersed.

Two men, aged 28 and 29, were arrested at the scene on suspicion of affray. They have been released on bail pending further investigations, and an inquiry is currently underway to fully understand the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Inspector Martin Baker from GMP’s Stockport division reassured the local community that they are actively pursuing various lines of inquiry. The police are also collaborating closely with the local authorities and the premises involved to prevent similar occurrences in the future.
