United match with Burnley officially set
Opening Fixture to be played January 12
Manchester United’s match against Burnley is now ready to go ahead.
The game at Turf Moor was to be the Red Devils’ opening fixture of this Premier League season but was postponed due to United’s involvement in the Europa League.
United will now face the Clarets on January 12.
That means when Man United play Liverpool on January 17 they will have played the same amount of games as the current leaders.
Last season United lost 2-0 to Sean Dyche’s squad in January at Old Trafford.
United won the fixture at Turn Moor in December 2019 by the same scoreline.
Kickoff on the 12th is at 8:15 pm. (JSL).
