More than 100 schools in Greater Manchester have COVID cases
Thousands of students self-isolating
Many parents’ worst fears have been answered.
School has only just begun in the region and already there’s at least 110 schools that have confirmed cases of COVID-19 with that number expected to rise.
The problem is not being aided by the fact that pupils and teachers are struggling to get access to tests.
Hundreds of pupils have been sent home at some high schools following a positive test.
The number of positive tests in both primary and secondary schools as of Monday was at 91.
You can see the entire list of all the boroughs and the confirmed cases by visiting the Manchester Evening News.
Before schools opened parents were split on whether or not sending their kids back to school was the right decision. (JSL)
