It was a welcome sight for City fans this week as Sergio Aguero was back training.
The Argentine striker has not seen action for almost three months due to a knee injury.
Aguero underwent an operation in June to repair a torn meniscus and will use the international break this week to sharpen up.
This news comes at a much-needed time for Pep Guardiola’s team who have been slow out of the gates.
They’ve got four points from three EPL matches so far this season.
City have several players nursing injuries at the moment.
Garbriel Jesus, Jao Cancelo, Oleksandr Zinchenko, and Ilkay Gundogan are all out with either an injury or illness.
Meanwhile Raheem Sterling pulled out of the England squad due to fitness problems.
Aguero is Man City’s all-time leading scorer with 254 goals. (JSL)
