Pogba vows to “always fight” for Manchester United
French midfielder issues statement on social media
Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba is setting the record straight about his feelings with the club.
The French international put out a passionate speech on Instagram expressing his desire to give his very best effort while with the club.
“I’ve always fought and will always fight for Manchester United, my team-mates and the fans,” says Pogba. “Bla bla is not important.
“The future is far; today is what matters and I am 1000 percent involved!
“Always strong together… all has been clear between the club and myself and that will never change.
“When you don’t know what’s going on inside, don’t talk.
“#SpeakTheTruthOrRemainSilent
“#United
“#talktothehand.”
Pogba posted that following his team’s 0-0 draw with Man City on Saturday.
There are increasing reports Pogba may leave Old Trafford when the new transfer window opens on January 2nd.
Pogba’s statement comes less than a week after his agent Mino Raiola said the 27-year-old is “unhappy” at United.
The 2018 World Cup Winner scored his first Premier League goal of the season last weekend in a 3-1 win over West Ham.
Pogba’s in his fifth season with the club but has only featured in nine EPL fixtures thus far.
The United midfielder is under contract with the club until June 2022 after extending his contract clause in October. (JSL).
