Man United confident Diallo will soon get a UK work permit
Atalanta winger granted a passport
Teenage sensation Amad Diallo could soon be on his way to Old Trafford.
The 18-year-old Atalanta winger was recently granted a passport after signing with Manchester United back in October.
Last season the youngster had seven goals and 11 assists in 24 appearances for his team.
The man from the Ivory Coast became the youngest player to score on his Serie A debut in 2018-19.
At the age of 17 years and 109 days, he found the back of the net in a 7-1 thumping of Udinese.
Atalanta captain Papu Gomez had high praise for the Ivorian.
“There are defenders in the first team that sometimes cannot stop him. To stop him in training, we have to kick him! He plays like Messi,” says Gomez.
Man United is optimistic Diallo could travel to Manchester next month pending his transfer fee of £37.5 million. (JSL),
