Coming soon
We may not have to wait much longer to see Amad Diallo in the senior side.
The 18-year-old winger will be available for Manchester United’s upcoming Round of 32 games against Real Sociedad.
Fans have eagerly awaited his presence after the teenage sensation signed from Atalanta on the fall transfer deadline day for £37m.
It took some time to get his work visa sorted out arriving in Manchester only last month.
Now that he’s here he’s quickly making United’s investment in him pay off.
Flying start
Diallo is turning heads in his early days playing for the youth team.
Last Saturday the Ivorian international took just 14 minutes to open the scoring in his debut against Liverpool.
Diallo added an exclamation mark with United’s sixth goal from the penalty spot in a 6-3 route of the Merseyside’s.
Filling a void
Diallo’s speed and skills could address a desperate need for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team.
Right-wing has been a problem position for the Reds this season having tried Mason Greenwood, Paul Pogba and Juan Mata at that spot this season.
Neither has produced successful results, and the hope is Diallo could be that missing piece.
Diallo is more of a naturalized winger than those three and with the right development could add another dimension to the Reds midfield.
