A serious car crash occurred on the main road in North Manchester last night. After the crash, police have cordoned off the main road.
Last night around 6.40 pm, a two-vehicle smash happened on Blackley New Road In Blackley. Police, ambulance crews, and firefighters were called to the scene immediately.
No announcement has been made on anyone who was seriously injured. Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service isolated one of the cars from the scene and the scene was made safe by fire crews.
A spokesperson for GMFRS said: “At around 6.40 pm this evening, one fire engine from Blackley fire station was called to a report of a road traffic collision involving two vehicles on Blackley New Road, Manchester. Upon arrival, firefighters isolated one vehicle and made the scene safe before handing it over to colleagues from Greater Manchester Police.”
After the crash, Blackley New Road, Crumpsall was closed in both directions between Old Market Street to Riverside Road.
