Manchester University debuts STEM podcast featuring Big Sisters, showcasing women and marginalized voices
The University of Manchester has released a brand-new podcast, aiming to amplify the voices of those often overlooked in the science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) sector. The podcast, entitled Big Sisters in STEM, seeks to provide a supportive and inclusive space for women and non-binary individuals in STEM to share their experiences and challenges in a traditionally male-dominated field. Hosted by Jasmine Luby Barrow, the podcast will feature a range of guests, including academics, industry professionals, and students, discussing topics such as imposter syndrome, balancing career and family, and the importance of diversity in STEM.
