Good luck to the Robins!

Everyone at Trafford Council would like to wish Altrincham FC the best of luck in their Vanarama National League play-off semi-final match this Sunday. The Robins will take on Bromley FC at 4pm after receiving a bye in the quarter finals due to the exclusion of Gateshead FC from the other play-off eliminator tie.

If Altrincham win, they will face Barnet or Solihull Moors in the final which will be held at Wembley on Sunday 5 May.

Gateshead FC were excluded for failing to meet the entry requirements to EFL League Two and this saw The Robins through for finishing highest in the league.

A spokesperson for Trafford Council said: “We wish Altrincham FC the very best of luck when they travel to Bromley for the semi-final match. Whatever the result, the club and players can be extremely proud of what they have achieved in the competition. Well done to the Robins.”
