The Most and Least Expensive Houses of Greater Manchester Were Sold

According to the latest data, the most and the least expensive houses of Greater Manchester are sold in August and October.

After the lockdown and coronavirus pandemic, the property market gained a new acceleration. Trafford dominated the upper side of the property market whereas Bolton, Bury, Wigan, Oldham, and Rochdale have the least expensive houses in Greater Manchester.

The most expensive house in Greater Manchester was sold for £3.5m.On the other hand, the cheapest one was sold for £42,000 in early August.

The data of the Land Registry showed that 48,317 house sales in August,25,982 house sales in September, and 622 house sales in October were registered. Average house prices increased by 4.7 % in September 2020 and gained a record value.

According to the latest data of the Land Registry, here are the most expensive and the least expensive houses of Greater Manchester:

The Most Expensive Houses :
  • Kashaneh, 24 Broadway, Hale, Altrincham, Trafford, Greater Manchester, WA15 0PG –  a detached house that has seven bedrooms and three bathrooms. – £3,503,054
  • 226 Hale Road, Hale, Altrincham, Trafford, Greater Manchester, WA15 8EB –  a detached house which has eight bedrooms, four bathrooms and five reception rooms .-£1,600,000
  • 7 Brookwood Avenue, Sale, Trafford, Greater Manchester, M33 5BZ –  this detached house has an outdoor swimming pool. -£1,500,000
The Least Expensive House
  • 44 Beaconsfield Street, Bolton, Bolton, Greater Manchester, BL3 5DW – a terraced house – £35,000
  • 42 Beaconsfield Street, Bolton, Bolton, Greater Manchester, BL3 5DW – a terraced house – £35,000
  • 31 Longfield Road, Bolton, Bolton, Greater Manchester, BL3 3TA – a terraced house – £35,000
