CCTV Images Of Arson Attack In Trafford

Police released CCTV footage of three people for an arson attack in Trafford. No injuries were reported in the attack, however extensive damage was caused to the properties. Police appeal for information for the incident.

Police were called to a property o Bradfield Road, Stretford on Saturday 1 May 2020 with the reports of a fire. Enquires established that a property had been set alight and the blaze had spread to the roof of a neighbouring property. Officers believed that the incident is arson and an investigation has launched.

Extensive damage was caused to the two properties in the incident.No arrests have been made, yet.

Detective Constable Rachel Di Nicola, of GMP’s Trafford district, said: “This was a deliberate act which recklessly endangered people’s lives, including children who were present in the neighbouring property at the time of the fire.”

“This behaviour will absolutely not be tolerated in Greater Manchester and we are following all available lines of enquiry to identify those responsible.”

“As part of our enquiries, we have released CCTV footage of three individuals who we want to speak to in connection with this incident. If you recognise any of these individuals or have any information that could help us with our investigation, please contact police as soon as possible.”
