The Murder of 16-Year-Old Boy: Four Teenagers Were Arrested
For the ongoing investigation for the murder of 16-year old boy Alexander John Soyoye, the teenager who is all 17 years old were arrested on 18 December in North Manchester.
On 6 November 2020 around 7 pm, the police officers got a report from the ambulance service on a stabbing in Moston. Despite all efforts of the emergency services, Alexander John Soyoye, the victim who is 16 years old, died at the scene.
After that tragedic death, the police officers continued the investigation and encourage the public to share their information on the incident.
Detective Chief Inspector Liz Hopkinson, of GMP’s Major Incident Team, said: “We continue to appeal to those who may have been around the area at the time of Alexander’s death and the preceding events close to Piccadilly and Moston Lane to come forward and assist us with our inquiries – either directly to police or anonymously via Crimestoppers.”
Recently, the police officers arrested four boys for the death of Alexander. After the investigation, four teenagers have been released on bail.
