Statement on Manchester incident – Thursday October 2

The thoughts of everyone at Manchester Metropolitan University are with all those affected by the horrific events at Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation Synagogue this morning (Thursday October 2).

We are shocked and appalled at what has happened and want to remind our staff and students that support is available via the University.

Our thoughts remain with the whole Jewish community across the city and Greater Manchester during this distressing time.
