Manchester United may have to start the EPL season without one of its biggest names.
Paul Pogba got a late start to pre-season training due to testing positive for COVID-19.
Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer says the Frenchman has only had a “couple of training sessions” since his recovery.
Pogba has until September 19 to get fit before his team battles Crystal Palace to start the season.
On Friday Solskjaer said “hopefully, he’ll be ready for next weekend, I am not 100% sure, though.”
If Pogba can’t go expect to see Donny van de Beek fill the void in his Premier League debut.
Because of his positive COVID test Pogba was left off the French squad for their recent Nations League games. (JSL)
