Oldham Sports Club Taster Festival invites residents to try something new
Residents across Oldham are being encouraged to get active and discover local sports clubs as part of the upcoming Oldham Sports Club Taster Festival.
Taking place from Monday 16th March to Sunday 22nd March, the festival will see a range of clubs across the borough opening their doors and offering free taster sessions for people of all ages and abilities.
From football and rugby to hockey, Muay Thai and fitness classes, the festival is designed to showcase the fantastic sports clubs, activities and facilities available in Oldham while encouraging more residents to get involved in sport and physical activity.
Sessions will take place at venues across the borough, giving residents the opportunity to meet local coaches, try new activities and find out how to join a club near them.
Details of the sessions taking place during the festival are listed below:
Avro FC – Future Stars
- Monday 16th March, 5.30pm to 6.30pm

- Football session for children aged three to six. The club also runs a Future Stars programme designed to help young players develop football skills in a safe and supportive environment.
