Manchester Met students report best-ever university experience

Students at Manchester Metropolitan University are more positive about their university experience than ever before, according to national survey results released today (Wednesday, July 9, 2025)
For the fourth year in a row, Manchester Met has seen improved results in the National Student Survey (NSS) and is once again found to provide an outstanding student experience.
The 2025 results are the best yet for the University, with high-performing themes ranging from Teaching and Academic Support to Student Voice and more.
Professor Andrew Dainty, Vice-Provost and Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Education at Manchester Met, said: “These results are a reflection of the hard work of colleagues across the University to ensure our students have the best possible teaching and learning experience.
“To achieve our best results to date and see continuous improvement for the fourth year in a row is a testament to the dedication and commitment of colleagues across Manchester Met.
“The results also strengthen our status as a Teaching Excellence Framework Gold-rated institution and tell a story about the excellent education and teaching experiences we provide here at Manchester Met.”
Run by the Office for Students (OfS), the NSS surveys final year undergraduate university students each year to assess satisfaction, help prospective students, and provide universities with insights to improve teaching and services.
Clearing is now open at Manchester Met for anyone who already has their results and is looking to join us in September. To find out more visit Clearing 2025 | Manchester Metropolitan University.
