After gun shots in Cale Green towards a 27-year-old man, police are appealing for any witnesses and information.
On Saturday night, gun shots were fired at a 27-year-old man on Heathland Terrace in Cale Green. Two men who were on a motorbike walked to the victim and fired gun shots several times.
Fortunately, the man wasn’t injured and called the police. The police came to the scene for forensic analysis immediately. Enquires are ongoing.No arrest has been made, yet.
Chief Inspector Michael Parker, of GMP’s Stockport district, said: “Clearly this incident could easily have had tragic consequences and it’s incredibly lucky that the man or other members of the public were not injured. Whilst this is believed to have been a targeted attack, it’s very important that we trace those responsible for this senseless and dangerous attack and officers are working hard to piece together the circumstances.”
