General Election result – Labour win Bury North

James Frith won the Bury North seat for Labour in tonight’s General Election.

The result:

  • Mark Alcock (Liberal Democrat) – 1317
  • Shafat Ali (Workers Party) – 1917
  • James Daly (Conservative) – 12,681
  • Spencer Donnelly (Independent) – 277
  • James Frith (Labour) – 19,625
  • Anwarul Haq (Independent) – 571
  • Lynda Rosewell (Reform UK) – 7385
  • Owain Sutton (Green Party) – 1747

The turnout was 59%.
