After a domestic stabbing attack at a home in Oldham, a woman was taken to the hospital. The woman is still in hospital with serious stab injuries.
Police were called to an address on Clyde Street at around 8.40 am yesterday. When police arrived at the scene, a 40-year-old woman was found with stab injuries. Police said she is in hospital now with non-life-threatening conditions. A large area of Clyde Street was cordoned off by police.
A GMP spokesperson said: “Police were called shortly after 8.40 am by NWAS on Sunday 16 May to a report of an earlier domestic stabbing at an address on Clyde Street, Oldham. A 40-year-old woman has been taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening stab wounds.”
“No arrests have been made and an investigation is underway, with two scenes in place in the vicinity of the incident. Officers are confident this was a targeted attack and the victim is known to the attacker.”
