Concern for Man’s Welfare After Suspected Attack and Abduction in Salford

Greater Manchester Police are appealing for information after a man was reportedly attacked and forced into a car in the early hours of Thursday morning.

At around 2:15am on Thursday 3 April, a member of the public reported seeing a male being assaulted and forced into an unknown vehicle. The incident is believed to have occurred somewhere in Salford, and officers are now urgently trying to confirm the man’s safety and wellbeing.

Following initial enquiries, police have released an image to assist with the investigation and hope that someone may come forward with crucial information.

Officers are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident, captured dashcam footage, or has any information about the man or the vehicle involved, to come forward as soon as possible.

Police are treating the incident with urgency and have increased patrols in the area as the investigation continues.
