Car Crash Into Two Houses In Bolton
In Bromley Cross, a man died after he was hit into two houses. Today, around 11.20 am, a man lost control of the car and hit two properties. The man died at the scene in his car. Two houses were damaged and fortunately, no one was injured inside properties.
The accident happened on Chetwyn Avenue in Bromley Cross. The man, who drove his Mazda car lost control of the car and an 82-year-old man died at the scene. It is believed that he suffered from a medical episode and for that reason, he hit two properties accidentally.
One of the owners of the properties said after the accident: “I was out at the time volunteering at the COVID centre but someone rang me and I came straight back. I can’t believe that it’s happened.”
A spokesman from GMP said: “Officers were called around 11.30 am this morning (Friday 22 January 2021) to a report of a vehicle colliding with a house on Chetwyn Avenue, Bromley Cross. Despite the best efforts of medical staff, the driver – an 82-year-old man – was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. Enquiries are in their early stages however it is believed he suffered a medical episode.”
