After An Assault To A Delivery Driver, Detectives Have Released Images Of The Incident
Officers have released images of a man who assaulted a delivery driver in Whalley Range. The 35-year-old delivery driver was treated for his injuries after the assault.
Officers were called to Mankey Road with reports of an assault on 14 June. Emergency services came to the scene immediately and found the 35-year-old delivery driver had received a slash wound to his cheek from a knife.
No arrests have been made, yet. Enquiries are ongoing. Police have released the images of a man who assaulted the delivery driver.
Detective Inspector Chris Maddocks, from GMP’s City of Manchester South division, said: “This was a vicious attack on a delivery driver who was doing his job and has understandably been left shaken.”
“I would urge other delivery drivers to be cautious but would like to stress that we’re carrying out a number of enquiries to trace those responsible and bring them to justice.”
“The image isn’t the clearest but we’re hoping that members of the public may recognise the person in the image from their clothing or having seen them earlier that day.”
