A Teenager Has Been Stabbed In Victoria Tram Station
After a fight at Victoria tram station, a 17-year-old teenager has been stabbed. The injuries of the teenagers aren’t thought to be life-threatening.
Police were called to the scene with a report of a fight yesterday at around 9.10 pm. A cordon has been set around the station.
Enquiries are ongoing.No arrests have been made, yet.
A GMP spokesperson said: “At around 21:08hrs on Wednesday 2 June 2021, police were called to a report of a stabbing at Victoria station Tram stop.”
“BTP and GMP Officers attended and established that a male aged 17 had sustained stab wounds, his injuries are not life-threatening.”
City centre councillor Pat Karney posted a tweet on the incident and said: “Thanks to Emergency Services for attending Victoria Station tonight. A fight took place on a tram. A male in hospital undergoing urgent treatment. Shocking behaviour.”
