A 35 year-old woman has been charged following the murder of a woman in Longsight

She has been remanded and will appear at Manchester Magistrates Court today (14 June 2021). Police were called to an address in Holker Close just before 14:00 on Friday. He reported that on 11 June a body had been found.

Emergency Services attended and discovered the body of a woman.

Formal identification is yet to take place, but she is believed to be 58-year-old Beverley Scott.

Next of Kin have been informed.
