Community groups can now apply to a fund to support residents with financial pressures.
The Cost of Living Community Fund is now open for applications from organisations who support residents using money from Bury Council and the government, with support from Bury Voluntary and Community Faith Alliance (Bury VCFA).
Projects should help residents manage cost-of-living pressures and support local neighbourhoods.
Individual organisations can apply for up to £2000 while voluntary groups working with others (minimum 2 groups working together) may apply for up to £5000 per application.

Previous grants have helped support groups to provide kitchen equipment and sessions about cooking on a budget, wellbeing and exercise activities, support for food banks and food pantries, debt and money advice, provide affordable clothing and school uniforms, and making sure residents can use online services.
