37-Year-Old Man Has Died In Bury: “The Most Unique, Amazing Fun Loving Man “

For the tragic death of a man who died in a collision in Bury, his family have paid tribute. His family said: “He was just the most caring, humorous man, everyone loved him and we will all be forever thankful we had him in our lives.”

Police were called to Rochdale Old Road at around 5.30 pm on 18 May 2021 with the report of a collision between a pedestrian and a car. The 37-year-old pedestrian, Anthony McKenzie, was pronounced dead at the scene.

No arrests have been made. The driver of the car stayed at the scene and assisted with enquiries. Officers appeal for information for the collision.

In the paid tribute to Antony, his family said: “Anthony was the most unique, amazing fun loving man who did as he pleased most of the time. But mainly he was the best daddy to his young boys; nothing meant more to him than his children, they were his entire world.”

“He was just a fun-loving caring, humorous man, everyone loved him and we will all be forever thankful we had him in our lives.”
