Three People Were Arrested for Stolen Puppies

After seven puppies have stolen Wigan, three people were arrested. Seven English Bulldogs were stolen from Leigh and then were discovered at an address in Liverpool.

On February 2, 2021, police officers were got a report that a burglary happened on Shelley Street in Leigh around 2.30 am. Seven English Bulldogs were stolen at the burglary. Police discovered that puppies were taken to an address on Marina Avenue in Merseyside.

Three people-two 21-year old and a 20-year old woman were arrested on suspicion of burglary. Enquires are ongoing and they have been released under investigation.

Sergeant Gareth Mark from GMP’s Wigan district said: “Thanks to a vital report from a member of the public, the puppies have been rightfully returned to their owner after they were taken in Wigan. Their owners were understandably worried but thankfully, an eagle-eyed member of the public helped us to return them home.”
