A “vicious” shooting to a house happened in Blackley last night. A man who was injured seriously was taken to the hospital.
On 5 December, armed police got a report on a shooting at a property which is in North Manchester estate around 8 pm. The shooting happened in a property that is located on Mansfield Avenue in Blackley.
A 22-year-old man was injured seriously and was taken to the hospital. The medical treatment of the man still continues and he has serious injuries on his leg. According to the police, his injuries are not life-threatening and he remains in stable condition.
Greater Manchester Police said that it is an individual shooting and there is no wider risk to a threat to the public.CSI officers started an investigation and examined the property and the shooting.No arrests have been made so far.
Detective Inspector Louise Edwards, of GMP’s City of Manchester division, said: “This was a vicious attack which has left a man in hospital with serious injuries. I would like to reassure the community that this is believed to be an isolated incident.”
