Update on the situation in Israel and Gaza

Our thoughts are with everyone affected by the conflict and any Stockport residents with families or friends who are impacted.

As a symbol of peace and solidarity, this evening at 5pm, we will be lighting up the town hall in blue and white to coincide with the planned vigil in Manchester. Cllr Mark Hunter, Leader of Stockport Council and The Mayor of Stockport, Councillor Graham Greenhalgh, will attend the vigil.
