Greater Manchester Police (GMP) is questioning a pair of male suspects regarding a woman’s death in Oldham yesterday.
Police found the woman’s body at a home on Ashton Road at around 12:15 GMT.
A spokesman said they still have to complete a post-mortem examination on the woman believed to be 29.
Initial reports indicate the victim had been stabbed multiple times.
Two men ages 35 and 41 were arrested in connection to the death and remain in custody.
Det Ch Inspec Cheryl Chatterton said officers were keeping an “open mind” about what might have transpired.
GMP are treating it as an “isolated” incident. (JSL)
