Following a collision on the M60, a man has died tragically. After the collision in April, the man had been taken to the hospital immediately. Sadly, he died on Friday 4 June.
Officers were called to junction 17 on the M60 with reports of a road traffic collision on 24 April 2021. Initial enquiries established that a Ford Transit was travelling when a man entered the carriageway from the hard shoulder. The man crossed one lane of traffic before colliding with the Ford Transit.
No arrests have been made, yet. The 45-year-old man-Jan Kocurek- was pronounced dead on 4 June.
From GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit, Sergeant Andrew Page said: “Despite the best efforts from hospital staff to save his life, Jan has sadly passed away and our thoughts are with his family who is understandably devastated.”
“We’ve been carrying out a number of enquiries since this collision happened and, we’re continuing to ask any witnesses to come forward with information that may assist us with our investigation.”
