The woman has been suffering serious injuries, and her next of kin was informed by police officers.
The woman, aged in her 30s, was taken to the hospital in Oldham.
This morning (September 20), the woman was found by police officers while she was lying on Lees Road in Oldham.
She was badly injured and has a risk of death now.
Now, police officers wish to reach anyone who has information and footage of the incident.
Inspector Danny Byrne said: “Firstly, I would like to say that our thoughts are with the victim and her loved ones as she continues to receive treatment in hospital.
“Enquiries are ongoing, but we believe that the victim was hit by a vehicle which failed to stop at the scene.
“I would like to use this opportunity to appeal to anyone with information or dash cam footage from the surrounding area at the time to share it with us so we can establish the full circumstances of this incident.”
