A 17-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been charged with murder.
He has been remanded in custody until a hearing at Manchester and Salford Magistrates’ Youth Court today (Friday 18 March 2022).
Police were called around 7.30am on Sunday 30 January 2022 to Clowes Park to a report of an unresponsive male.
Emergency services attended and 17-year-old Alan Szelugowski was sadly pronounced dead the scene.
