Police Are Looking For This Man For An Assault In Altrincham

Police are appealing for information following an assault in Altrincham. The victim, a 49-year-old man was punched several times to the head and face.

Officers were called at One Central Bar on One Central Way in Altrincham on 15 May 2021 with a report of an assault. Initial enquiries established that an offender who came to the bar punched the victim several times.

No arrests have been made yet. Police have released the images of the man who is in connection with the assault. Officers also found a watch at the scene that may belong to the offender.

Neighbourhood Policing Officer Grace Tarver, Of GMP’s Trafford district, said: “This was a completely unnecessary assault on an innocent member of the public and we will not stand for such behaviour in our communities.”

“If anyone in the local area has any information about the individual pictured, or was present at the time of the assault and, has information that could assist our investigation, please get in touch as soon as possible.”
