New Food Hall sparks great interest, inviting potential market traders to an open day

In the spring, a vibrant and modern dining space will open its doors in Bolton, becoming a bustling hub for hospitality. With nine trading units, this venue will accommodate up to 192 customers, offering a wide range of food and drink options. To attract potential businesses, there will be a drop-in open day on Thursday, February the 8th, allowing interested parties to view the new food hall. Equipped with modern facilities, climate-control, additional outdoor seating, free Wi-Fi, and an on-site cash machine, this fully licensed venue aims to provide a comfortable and convenient experience for its visitors. The selection process for traders will prioritize a diverse range of offerings, ensuring customers have plenty of choices. Supported by the renowned team behind Bolton Market and the Bolton Food and Drink Festival, successful candidates will benefit from a communal pot wash service, live entertainment, and proximity to popular cultural venues. With extended opening hours on Fridays and Saturdays, the food hall aims to attract students, families, and residents of the new town centre housing developments. This exciting addition to Bolton Market is part of a larger transformation project funded by the government’s Towns Fund. Complemented by nearby projects such as the new Elizabeth Park, the refurbished Central Library, and the Wellsprings innovation hub, Bolton is thriving with new opportunities. Councillor Akhtar Zaman, Bolton Council’s Executive Cabinet Member for Regeneration, expresses enthusiasm for this venture, highlighting the growing popularity of modern and flexible venues that offer quality food and a welcoming atmosphere. With the same team responsible for selecting and supporting traders, the Bolton Market Food Hall is expected to become a must-visit destination for locals and visitors alike.
