An exhibition featuring the works of five esteemed professional artists from Stockport is now open to the public until Sunday, 31 March. Curated by renowned artist Eric Jackson, the event celebrates the conclusion of Stockport’s Greater Manchester Town of Culture year.
The artists, Lucy Burgess, Eric Jackson, Kate O’Brien, Jackie Wagg, and David Chandler, have captured the essence of Stockport through their art, reflecting the town’s economic, cultural, and physical transformation. The exhibition was attended by Leader of Stockport Council, Councillor Mark Hunter, and the Mayor and Mayoress of Stockport, Councillor Graham Greenhalgh and Mrs Carol Greenhalgh.
