Stockport Pride Returns to the Heart of the Town!
Mark your calendars for Sunday, 30th July, as the highly anticipated Stockport Pride event makes its vibrant comeback to the town centre.
A jubilant celebration of the rich diversity within Stockport, the festivities will commence with an exuberant parade starting at the Underbanks at noon.
But the parade is only the beginning! The Martyn Hett stage will come alive with a delightful array of performances, featuring everything from fabulous drag artists to lively line dancers, ensuring non-stop entertainment throughout the afternoon. Additionally, the Market Place will be brimming with lively stalls, including ones from Stockport Council, offering a wealth of information. Don’t miss the chance to engage with the friendly volunteers and get to know more about the community.
For those eager to showcase their dance moves, a fantastic silent disco awaits on Little Underbank from 2 pm to 5 pm. So put on your dancing shoes and join in the merriment!
