Even if you have never accessed support before, the cost of living crisis is impacting many residents, so it’s worth seeing if support is available to you.
Councillor Mark Hunter, Leader of Stockport Council, commented: “The Council is very concerned about the cost-of-living crisis. We know many people are finding things challenging at the moment and that this will likely worsen as we approach the winter.
“We are taking positive steps to try and mitigate this, so please visit our cost-of-living hub on the Council website to see what help is available to you.
“The Council will be doing everything we can to assist those who need it during this crisis, so please stay up-to-date with the council’s social media channels for the latest announcements on what support is available and how you can access it.”
Stockport Support Hub is also available to help residents who may need some extra support. Referrals can be made online or by calling 0161 474 1042.
