Awards honouring the remarkable achievements of women in Trafford will take place on Saturday 9th March. The Trafford International Women’s Day Awards will be held from 6-9pm at Flixton Girls School, just a day after International Women’s Day. Organised by Trafford Councillor Jo Harding, the event will pay tribute to the accomplishments of women across the borough. Actress Sue Vincent, known for her roles in Waterloo Road, The Madame Blanc Mysteries, and Coronation Street, will also be in attendance. Nominations for various categories are still open, including Young Woman, Woman in Business, Health & Care, Women’s Group, Volunteer, and Above & Beyond.
