The authorities are seeking the community’s help after a firearms incident occurred on Stockport Road in Ardwick around 3 pm on Thursday, December 21. Fortunately, there were no reported injuries, but a member of the public had their car struck during the incident.
A dedicated team of detectives has been diligently investigating this audacious attack that occurred in broad daylight. Their efforts aim to unravel the complete sequence of events leading up to the incident.
Of particular interest to the police is any information regarding a distinctive blue Mercedes, resembling a 4×4, observed without a front registration plate. This vehicle was discovered abandoned on Clee Avenue in Longsight.
Authorities still seek individuals of interest for questioning and urge anyone with pertinent information to reach out to the police or provide anonymous tips through Crimestoppers.
Furthermore, individuals possessing CCTV, doorbell, or dashcam footage from the Ardwick and Longsight areas between 2:30 pm and 3:30 pm on Thursday, December 21, are encouraged to come forward to assist in the investigation.
