A 23-Year-Old Woman Died After Being Hit By Two Cars

In Salford, a young woman died after two cars hit her in a car accident. The accident happened on Worsley Road in Winton at around 7.30 pm on the 26th of January.

The young woman was hit near the junction with Walker Road by a Skoda Citigo which was traveling in the northwest direction along Worsley Road. Then, she also was hit by a Renault Clio which was traveling in the opposite direction.

After the accident, emergency services and police officers came to the scene immediately. In spite of all efforts of paramedics, the woman sadly died at the scene. The investigation for the death of a young woman started.

The road was closed for a while after the accidents. Both of the drivers remained at the scene to help police officers.No arrest has been made.

Police Sergeant Brian Orr from GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “We’re urging anyone who may have been in the area at the time and has information that could assist us with our investigation to come forward and speak with police.”

The investigation continues. Police officers gathering all dashcam footage and any information to complete the investigation.
