Manchester Airports Group (MAG) attended Get Oldham Working (GOW) in a major employment and skills initiative aimed at connecting Oldham residents with exciting career opportunities.
As part of GOW’s ongoing mission to support local people into sustainable employment, one of the UK’s largest airport operators showcased a wide range of live vacancies, training pathways, apprenticeships, and long-term career options available at Manchester Airport.
With roles spanning customer service, aviation security, engineering, retail, hospitality, logistics, and operational support, MAG is seeking motivated local candidates who want to build meaningful careers within the aviation sector.
MAG’s collaboration with Get Oldham Working highlights a shared commitment to investing in local talent, supporting workforce development, and ensuring residents have access to high‑quality employment opportunities within Greater Manchester’s thriving aviation hub.
Representatives from MAG were on hand on Friday 23 March to:
- Share details of current vacancies and upcoming recruitment campaigns
- Offer insight into career progression pathways across the airport group

- Support residents in understanding the application and onboarding processes
