Greater Manchester Police (GMP) arrested one man following a shooting that left two men dead.
Abayomi Ajose, 36, and Cheriff Tall, 21 were at a gathering on Moss Side, Manchester on June 21.
The two who didn’t know each other were attacked and shot that day.
They both died in the hospital.
A 25-year-old man is being held on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder.
Det Ch Insp Stuart Wilkinson says officers “firmly believe” there were witnesses with “vital information” who’ve not spoken up.
“We understand people may be frightened, given the nature of the incident, but that information can be given anonymously,” he says.
He is urging potential witnesses to “do the right thing and come forward”.
A 32-year-old woman, who was arrested on suspicion of murder after the shootings, had been released on bail pending further inquiries. (JSL)
