Shooting Through Window- The Street Has Been Closed In Salford

 After the shooting in Salford today, the residential street was closed by the police. The shooting occurred on Cholmondeley Road at 7.40 pm this morning ant the shot was fired through a window of a property.

Police closed the road after the shooting as a precaution and for the investigation. It Police announced that nobody was injured and no arrest has been made, yet. Enquires are ongoing. Police are collecting and examining pieces of evidence that are related to the shooting.

A spokesperson from GMP said: “At around 07:40 am on Wednesday 17 March 2021, police were called to a report of a firearm’s discharge on Cholmondeley Road, Salford. Officers attended and established that a bullet had been fired at a property.”

“No one was injured, but the damage was caused to the property.No arrests have been made and an investigation is on-going. A scene remains in place.”
