Huge Queues To Get Coronavirus Jab In Rochdale

After all over -18s have been encouraged to get coronavirus jab, huge queues occurred across Greater Manchester. Transport for Greater Manchester said lines of cars queuing for ‘up to 60 minutes’ were seen in Rochdale yesterday outside the drive-thru vaccine centre.

After a new variant of coronavirus and over 18s are encouraged to get the vaccine, huge queues were reported in Rochdale. Rochdale council announced all vaccination centres to avoid long waiting times.

The council said: Queues have now eased at the new drive-through vaccination site at Rochdale AFC so please get down there if you can. If you’re eligible you can come to Bowlee Park Community Primary School.”

“You’ll see signs for FAST testing but follow them as we’re in the same spot. Wardleworth Community Centre pop-up clinic has quiet queues now – open till 6 pm.I6 If you’re eligible you can attend.”

No appointment is needed for the vaccine. Rochdale Council has asked to bring NHS numbers to people if possible.
