Manchester City will without the services Ilkay Gundogan for a little while.
The German midfielder missed City’s 3-1 win over Wolves.
The club says he won’t be playing in Thursday’s Carabao Cup tie with Bournemouth.
Premier League and UK government protocols require him to self-isolate for 10 days.
In a statement City said “everyone at the club wishes Ilkay a speedy recovery.”
He’s the third Blues player to contract the virus in the last month.
Aymeric Laporte and Riyad Mahrez are back training after their positive tests.
The 29-year-old has also been ruled out of Sunday’s match against Leicester City.(JSL)
